In this chapter we go over the fundamentals of light and color. It is important to understand these concepts to increase the quality and accuracy of your renders.

Chapter 2: Intro to Lighting in Maya

Chapter 2 is about getting familiar with the lighting tools in maya and understand how each type of light can be used to create beautiful renders.

Chapter 3: Lighting Techniques

In this chapter we apply our knowledge of maya lighting to light an exterior scene.

Chapter 4: Compositing

We move on to learning how to further enhance the quality of our renders by moving our renders into compositing programs. We merge our render layers into a beautiful composition.

Chapter 5: Interior Lighting

This last chapter is about tackling an interior scene. I show the process of lighting a full scene.
